Writing mentorship packages

Mentorship can work hour by hour, or project by project. Some people are happy with an open-ended journey but for many, mentorship can seem a bit mysterious. I’ve put together three mentorship packages that offer a set amount of hours and outcomes plus a substantial discount for use in the July-December 2025 period.

The mentorships can take place virtually (video call and/or email), or for those in Central Victoria and Melbourne a blend of virtual and in-person may be arranged.

5 hours: $710

10 hours: $1425

Following initial consultation, if you’re comfortable to go ahead the flat fee is to be paid upfront in full. Additional or ad-hoc hours can be negotiated at an hourly consultation rate on enquiry (not discounted). Refunds are not available.

  • This plan includes a mix of discussion meetings and short draft feedback. It’s intended for writers who need some structure and accountability to get new work rolling or to break a block.

  • For a writer with an existing project who wants draft feedback at scale. This plan is focused on turning around incremental drafts or revisions.

    Choose either 5 or 10 hours of mentor input. Includes a free initial consultation to discuss your needs and an approach to the timeframe and word count. Suitable for 15k-30k word count projects.

  • This plan is for beginners or writers who have not had external input on their work. The mentorship is focused on discussion of intentions, generative writing prompts and reflection on technique and method.
