Chainsaw poetics was a poetry workshop at Words in Winter festival, Daylesford in August 2025. Open to writers of any level, this workshop explored a slow-motion process of poetic transformation from thought and emotion, to language, to form. Set around a gorgeous raw-edged hardwood table at Radius Art in Hepburn, participants produced some incredibly refined and sparkling short drafts. One poet called it a “fulfilling poetic communitas”.
